This may not seem like much to some but to me there is nothing anyone on earth could give me that would compare to the tears of joy I shed knowing that my 10 year old son loves me so much to paint a picture of one of my favorites things (a waterfall) and to author his own story with the love that he would name a planet after me. I pray that every mother will receive such wonderful tribute and love as I have this special day - yes, he is very much like me, couldn't wait gave me part of my Mother's Day gift a day early.

Update 2005:
In the wee hours of the morning today I was working on the website and as I'm running low on space at BFO I was looking for things I could remove to make room for new... My "Awards" page is now gone - all the people in the world could give me a million awards and none would compare in the least to this simple gift from a son to his mother. I might mention, Shane is now 14 and having some major growing pains. I have no doubt I will not receive a planet named after me or a story written about me for Mother's Day this coming year but I thank The Lord I have this to remember "the good ole' days"... blessings again, Faith
