Guidelines by Which this
site is Governed
The following guidelines were originally
written for the web ring ~Let His Light Shine~ they are
also the guidelines used in the running and maintaining
of not only By Faith Only but all sites and rings managed
by this web mistress. This includes but is not exclusive
to Graphics by Faith, Austin Inc. Web Design, and By
Faith Only.
1) Agree with our Statement
of Faith.
2) Site will be family friendly. All pages and
links will be viewable by all ages.
3) Not every page or site is
"Christian" or carries scripture but
WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) is present at all
times. Would Jesus be pleased with what is
presented here?
4) No site hosted, designed or maintained by
myself will say anything hateful about anyone.
While discussion of other "religions"
is okay, you must show kindness and respect to
those involved. We can show that a false religion
is false without demeaning the followers - the
love of God must be apparent at all times during
such discussions.
5) Will not malign other denominations (see
above).
6) Will not include anything to cause distention
among Christians. We're all on the same team
here...
7) Will not express a view that evolution may
have been a tool used by God. Don't blame God for
the random, chaotic nature of the theory of
evolution.
8) Will not compare Jesus to men of great
historical significance; in other words, sites
that claim Jesus was just a great man like
Muhammad or Plato. Jesus Christ Our Savior is the
one and only Savior and is not to be considered
the same as earthly men.
9) Will not declare everyone is or will become a
god, e.g., "We are all part of the universal
being and will inevitably go to heaven."
10) Will not proclaim that all of the world's
religions are really offshoots of Christianity
and all are equally valid.
11) Will not claim to have received prophecy and
publish it on site.
12) Will not be completely written in a language
other than and excluding English (I am sorry but
I only speak and read English and can't monitor
or screen foreign-language sites).
13) Will not be merely discussion forums or
gateways to discussion forums.
14) Will not contain objectionable, non-Christian
material this would include but is not exclusive
of: transcendental meditation, astral projection,
white witchcraft, use of charms and crystals,
vampires, mystical creatures, tarot cards, wicca,
pagan, faeries, physic readings, astrology,
celestial healing, numerology, channeling, gods
and goddess worship, earth religion, ESP,
homosexuality, pentagram, new age, magic,
reincarnation, karma, metaphysics, nudity,
spells, automatic writing, rituals, vulgar
language, spiritism.
15) Will NOT promote links, groups, or other wise
that support non-Christian beliefs. (For example
a glorious Christian site carrying a link or
banner promoting astrology is a contradiction of
Christian beliefs thus taking away from the
message being delivered, or attempting to
deliver, of the Christian site.

Jesus tells us to be a light to this dark world
and
to tell the world about Him, and to be a witness
for Him.
He did NOT tell us to fellowship with the world.
In Fact, He told us to "be in the world, but
not OF the world".
