Page 2 Pictorial Tour

Jackson, MI is located in the southcentral part of the lower peninsula. Before we leave town on our trip we would like you to see our favorite site in town. Cascades, located in the Sparks Foundation Park, these beautiful cascades offer a lovely display of color to visitors each evening from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Total length 500 feet, vertical height of 64 feet, sixty feet wide, divided into 16 falls, 11 of which are illuminated.

From Jackson, we are heading west to Lake Michigan. Lined with beaches, sand dunes, habors, and more. Surrounded by four of the five Great Lakes - Superior, Michigan, Huron, and Erie and within the borders of the state there are more than 11,000 smaller lakes there is plenty of water available. Many of the inland lakes are so clear you can see 20 feet below the surface.
