FISHING

I'm not hooked on fishing,
I'm sorry to say.
Just thinking about it
Can ruin my whole day.

While missing my pole and
My hook skillfully,
The fish eat my bait, and
Mosquitoes eat me!

My mate gets upset, and
He hates me all day,
'Cause I drop the net, and
HIS fish gets away.

I yell, "I've a big one!"
But then I turn red
Because my line's hooked on
The bottom instead.

Next time YOU go fishing.
I'll happily wait
At home for MY fish to
Come served on a plate!
