This ring is based on a very simple idea which
actually stemmed from the reading of the
"Left Behind" series by Tim LaHaye and
Jerry Jenkins, excellent reading if you enjoy
reading and have the series available. The
Tribulation Ring although can be helpful to
others now is particularly geared towards those
who may miss the rapture but find themselves
searching for answers. The goal is to have the
ring and sites in the ring set up to run for as
long as possible without ringmaster or
webmasters. From experience I have seen that
sites on "free services" can last for
as much as a year or more with no updates being
done. Personal experience here I had a site I
started over 2 years earlier and for some reason
I happened upon the url and thought for the fun
of it I'd see what had happened to it. Almost 2
years and it was still there, untouched, still
viewable. Some have even said that "free
sites" can possibly last "forever"
doubt that but even a year or two is better than
nothing though.
The
soul purpose of this ring is to
lead others to know Jesus Christ Our Savior!

Sites must show belief in the following:
God is the Creator of
all things.
God is: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and
he was sent to earth to willingly die for
our sins.
He was born of a virgin. And led a
sinless life while on earth as a man.
But he was also God in man.
Jesus Christ died on the cross, but he
arose three days later.
And He IS ALIVE to this day!
The Holy Spirit is here with us to guide
us and direct our steps.
You must accept Jesus Christ as your
personal savior and
repent of sins committed.
God's salvation is available for ALL.

MAIN GOAL - SALVATION!
Sites must have a "Plan of Salvation"
or similar wording, give the visitor information
on what they need to do to Accept Christ as their
Savior - not just I did it and you need to.
Although personal testimonies are always
encouraged sites must show others how to do the
same. These people may not have an Aunt Millie to
set and pray with them. Please whenever possible
provide scripture references as well as the
scripture - some people may not have a bible
handy to look up the scriptures.
KEEP IT SIMPLE!
We understand fully that there are different
Church doctrines which may not be in 100%
agreement with each other but this is not the
place to debate or argue your individual church
stand (please refer to the above). Keep in mind
this is for the non-believer or questioning soul
this is not the time or place to confuse them
more. Messages, prayers, poems, lyrics showing
God's love and the great benifits of knowing
Christ as Our Savior are what are needed.
Everyone has a right to their opinion but this is
not the place for them - feel free to put that
information someplace else.
KEEP IT SIMPLER!
Although graphics can be very appealing and
beautiful keep in mind the more graphics on a web
page the slower they are going to load. More time
for a page to load more chance the visitor will
wander off someplace else and miss the message
being presented. Keep in mind most likely a
person about to make the decision as to weather
to accept the mark of the beast or not isn't
going to care if you know how to do triple
backgrounds or have found 50 animated gifs on the
internet over the years.
AND SIMPLER YET!
The hope is that these pages will be designed
specifically for this purpose. A beautiful site
with links to 200 other sites that are dead links
or lead to nothing pertaining to the goal here
are only going to create frustration and
confusion. A single page site with plan of
salvation, personal testimony, and a prayer from
the heart will provide I'm sure far more pleasure
than knowing you belong to 300 different webrings
or you've received 100 awards from who cares! A
great bible study on Revelation, what to expect,
what the rewards will be certainly would be more
important. Public viewable Prayer Books are
highly recommended so visitors may leave prayer
requests and others may if led to do so pray for
needs.
PROVIDE ENCOURAGEMENT!
We all have hundreds of brothers and sisters to
turn to when we need support or encouragement,
someone to pray with or for us, someone to remind
us Our Father is always here for us. Remember
there may be new brothers and sisters visiting
these sites, lets give them some of what we have
available now - going to be some very troubled
and difficult times, lets give them some
uplifting and encouragement if it means a simple
joke for a laugh, a special prayer just for our
new brothers or sisters.
JUST A FEW MORE RULES
1) Site must be family
friendly. We are a family Web Ring, all
pages and links must be viewable by all
ages.
2) Must not say anything hateful about
anyone, the love of God must be apparent
at all times.
3) Must not malign other denominations
(see above).
4) Must not include anything to cause
distention among Christians. We're all on
the same team here...
5) Must not express a view that evolution
may have been a tool used by God. Don't
blame God for the random, chaotic nature
of the theory of evolution.
6) Must not compare Jesus to men of great
historical significance; in other words,
sites that claim Jesus was just a great
man like Muhammad or Plato. Jesus Christ
Our Savior is the one and only Savior and
is not to be considered the same as
earthly men.
7) Must not declare everyone is or will
become a god, e.g., "We are all part
of the universal being and will
inevitably go to heaven."
8) Must not proclaim that all of the
world's religions are really offshoots of
Christianity and all are equally valid.
9) Must not claim to have received
prophecy and publish it on your site.
10) Must not be completely written in a
language other than and excluding English
(We am sorry but we only speak and read
English and can't monitor or screen
foreign-language sites). If your site
offers different translations of the site
Praise the Lord for being available to a
greater number, these sites will not be
deemed unacceptable for this reason.
11) Must not contain objectionable,
non-Christian material this would include
but is not exclusive of: transcendental
meditation, astral projection, white
witchcraft, use of charms and crystals,
vampires, mystical creatures, tarot
cards, wicca, pagan, faeries, physic
readings, astrology, celestial healing,
numerology, channeling, gods and goddess
worship, earth religion, ESP,
homosexuality, pentagram, new age, magic,
reincarnation, karma, metaphysics,
nudity, spells, automatic writing,
rituals, vulgar language, spiritism.
12) Must NOT promote links, groups, or
other web rings that support
non-Christian beliefs. We understand some
sites must carry a banner ad placed there
by the server and we make allowances for
these.
13) If providing a guestbook, message
board, or chat area on your site you are
also responsible for making sure none of
the above mentioned things are left there
during your time on earth.
14) Must display the Tribulation ring
code on first page of site, very bottom
is fine but if code is not found site
will be removed as long as there is a
ringmaster/mistress available to do it.
15) Upon acceptance email address must be
kept current. If you change address
please notify us - we must be able to
contact you with updates and news of the
ring or you will be removed from members
list.
16) Web site address must be kept
current. If you move let us know! If your
page or the Tribulation code cannot be
found you will be removed from
membership. (If you are having a problem,
let us know we may possibly be able to
help).

Remember, one page is all that is needed as long
as it contains the right information. Also feel
free to share with as many friends, family, or
brothers and sisters in Christ as you would like.
The more we have involved the better chance we
have of getting the message of Salvation to those
in need. Remember if I do a blue page and someone
doesn't like blue they may just love your purple
one!

them set right from the start rather than to have
