My favorite verse -
John 3:16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
Born in the year 1955 in Jackson, Michigan -
yes, I am now living in my home town. I have lived in
California, New York, Texas, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida,
and Virginia. A few of them I've lived there more
than once and each time have returned to Michigan. No, I
am not an Army Brat - although I did serve in the United
States Navy...
What are my likes, waterfalls, sunsets, the beach,
camping (love sleeping in a tent when it's raining),
gardening, romantic movies, fireplaces, and anything
strawberry - strawberry icecream, strawberry shortcake,
strawberry cheesecake, you name it! What don't I like:
spiders (cringe just typing the word), licorice, sweet
potatoes, people who talk down to other people, and the
colors orange and yellow (unless they're in the sky)!
Type of music: most any! Right now my 3 disc CD player
has a Christian contemorary, a 50's, and a classical in
it. I do love to dance, one of my best forms of excersice
- which I don't care for. All depends on my mood and that
changes as often as the MI weather.
My favorite color goes the same way ranging from black to
white, red to purple, hot pink to pale pink, most any
shade of blue, and any shade of green. Just no orange or
yellow and brown belongs on trees (trunks) or the beach
(sand). Brown hair and eyes, throw in a tan that's
enough.
After 20 years in corporate America I wanted to profit
from my efforts, not watch someone else profit from them.
After the company I worked for, for 10 years closed I
knew I had to make some changes in my life. On that
note I enrolled in computer courses at our local
community college. With the fear of having to pay for the
courses if I didn't get a 2.5 or better grade average I
threw myself into studying (something I hadn't done in 25
years). Not to pat myself on the back or anything
but fear can be a good thing, I 4.0'd the course and have
been working with computers ever since. Now I am taking a
big step and starting a totally new venture.... On the
Internet the world is at my finger tips and I can connect
with it .... around my grandson's nap schedule.
Update: It has been nearly 6 years since I wrote the
above. I've been blessed with several different
employment opportunities with the local school district
(much of the work being done from my home). And Praise
The Lord am growing each day in my life with Christ.
FYI: I am still single although would love to find an
earthly man to spend time with number one priority is
keeping God #1 in my life!
