No matter where we are, who we're with, or what we are doing the most important thing is we be ourselves. Be our own person, follow the right path, and help others do the same.

Some things can never be tamed
no matter how hard we try.
Some things are best left to run their coarse
And some things may be better if tamed but will never be the same.

Worn by the years, softened by nothing. Our children touch our hearts from the day they are created but we must be strong. We guide them, are there for them, and love them! And if we've done our job they grow to do the same.

All of the pictures on this site were taken by the site owner while on vacation in Northern Michigan, USA.
Three of the Great Lakes are pictured, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, and Lake Superior.
The water falls are on the Tahquamenon River .
There are actually two sets of falls, the upper falls to the right here and
the lower falls (a series of several smaller falls).


This page is dedicated to my grandparents, Grandma & Grandpa Turner. They are no longer with us but I know they loved Michigan just as I do. My first visit to the Tahquamenon River was to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Also, Grandpa taught me to play my first 2 songs on the piano, one of them is playing on this page, Heart and Soul. Many happy hours were spent at the piano playing this duet with Grandpa as Grandma sat on the sofa watching or was in the kitchen cooking something delicious for us to eat (most likely one of my favorites).
